PM, UK Ambassador discuss latest developments in Yemen

Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik discussed Wednesday with the UK Ambassador to Yemen Michel Aron through technical meeting latest developments in Yemen and UK positions supporting the government of Yemen to carry out its responsibilities and duties for meeting aspirations of Yemeni people and realizing economic revival.
The meeting reviewed the terrorist attack carried out by terrorist Houthi militia against the government while arriving at Aden International Airport and continuing its military escalation in different warfronts and reflection of this escalation on peace process.
The meeting touched upon US decision of blacklisting Houthi militia as foreign terrorist group and measures taken by the government for facilitating humanitarian and relief activities in Houthi-held areas.
The two parties discussed the government's program and mechanisms of coordination and cooperation for providing UK support and mobilizing international support for making the program successful.
Prime Minister confirmed that the government- despite all difficulties and challenges- determines to realize its goals of regaining the state, up ending the coup and realize economic stability, pointing out Houthi militia's attack on Aden and killing and injuring dozens of innocent people has proved to the whole world that the militia does not believe in peace and it is only a mean to Iranian regime.
For his part, the UK diplomat renewed denunciation of his country to the horrible attack on Aden, praising steadfastness of prime minister, ministers and government members on commencing their responsibilities soon after the attack.
He confirmed full support of his country to the government and its understanding of the problems the government face and that the UK will work on mobilizing support for making its work successful.
He also pointed out to technical and institutional support to the Central Bank of Yemen and support to humanitarian activities, pointing out that the government's success will contribute hugely in realizing stability and economic recovery.
