Minister of Agriculture and Fishery Salim Assocatri received on Wednesday here in the temporary capital Aden a delegation from the Agriculture and Food Organization (FAO) headed by the Resident Representative of the FOA in Yemen Dr. Hussein Jadeen.
The session intended to discuss aspects on going coordination and cooperation between the Ministry and the FAO.
The talks focused on the response plan to fight desert locusts, protection of farmers' livelihood and training for national cadres in the agricultural and fishery sectors.
The FAO delegation delivered three Toyota cars provided by the FAO funded by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to help fighting the desert locusts.
