The Republic of Yemen's Ambassador to Ottawa, Canada, Jamal Abdullah Assallal held discussions on Saturday with the Canadian Under-Secretary of International Development Ministry Peter MacDougal.
The conversations which held virtually dealt with Yemeni-Canadian bilateral ties and cooperation.
The latest developments in Yemen including the Aden airport terrorist operation and the Yemeni government's efforts to reduce the impact of the US administration designation Iran-backed Houthi militia terrorist organizations were also touched upon.
Assallal explored further Canadian humanitarian aids for the Yemeni people and greater support for the Humanitarian Response Plan in Yemen in 2021.
The Canadian official expressed condemnation of the terrorist attack on Aden airport, affirming Canada's support for Yemen, the humanitarian actions and the UN-led peace efforts to establish permanent peace in Yemen.
