The Cabinet held session on Wednesday here in the temporary capital Aden presided over by the Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik.

The meeting devoted to discuss the latest developments about the military, security, political and services situations and to review the ongoing efforts to deal with the challenges on the ground.

The discussions touched upon the American administration's decision about designation Houthi militia terrorist organization which put into its effects yesterday, Tuesday, January 19.

The Cabinet re-welcomed the US administration's decision, affirming that the government is going to take every necessary measure to ensure that the humanitarian situation will never be affected by the decision.

The Cabinet stated that the government will constantly coordinate with the US government about taking all appropriate measures to mitigate the impacts of this decision upon the relief and humanitarian actions in Yemen, particularly in the militia-controlled regions.

The Council of Ministers has approved the documents about two general tenders of the two phases 5 and 7 for establishing two Solar Energy Stations, one in Abyan governorate with total capacity 20MGW and another Almaharah governorate with 10 MGW capacity.
