Shabwa Governor launches first phase of Qana oil port

Governor of Shabwa Mohammad bin Adyo launched Wednesday the first phase of Qana oil and trade port located alongside the coastal line at Rudhum District.
The governor launched the port by unloading the first oil shipment to the port. The shipment is 17,000 tons.
He reviewed the strategic and historical significance of the port, located near the international maritime line, pointing out to its importance as one of the greatest Yemeni ports help increasing commercial and economic activities in Shabwa and other provinces of Hadhramowt and Sheba regions.
He praised transitional technical measures made by the company for unloading the oil shipments, stressing significance of doubling efforts for finalizing the first and the second phase of the port.
