Saudi Arabia welcomes the designation of Houthi militia "terrorist organization"

RIYADH - SABA
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) has welcomed the US administration 's decision about designating Houthi militia a terrorist organization and enlisting its leaders in the terrorism lists.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry issued a statement carried out by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) in which it stated that the designation of the Houthi militia as terrorist organization is likely to help limiting the Houthi militia's terrorist actions, as that is set to neutralize these militias' danger, stop supplying this terrorist organization with missiles, drones, sophisticated weapons and funds to finance its war on the Yemeni people, threatening international navigation and neighboring countries.

The Foreign Ministry stated that this designation is going to help the ongoing political efforts to make peace, compel the Iran-backed Houthi militia to seriously return to political consultations.
