'MASAM' removes 1567 landmines in 1st week of January

KSrelief Center's Demining Project in Yemen "MASAM" managed to extract 1567 landmines, unexploded ordnances (UXO) and explosive devices planted by Iran-backed Houthi militiamen in several Yemeni regions.
The Saudi Press Agency (SPS) carried out a report by MASAMA stated 201 anti-personnel and 130 anti- tanks landmines, 1217 UXOs and 19 explosive devices were removed in the first week of January 2021.
Since it has started its demining mission MASAM removed 210,072 of landmines laid down by Houthi rebels everywhere in the country.
