Yemen's Permanent Representatives to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah al-Sa'adi has discussed with a number of permanent representatives to the United Nations situations developments in Yemen and details of the terrorist attack, which targeted the government while arrival at Aden Airport.
In his meeting with the permanent representatives to Saint Vincent, Mexico and Russia, al-Sa'adi confirmed the available profs and signs indicate that Iran-backed Houthi militia is behind this terrorist attack, which targeted the government formed on the bases of Riyadh Agreement and welcomed by international community and peace partners.
" This criminal act will not prevent the government from doing its tasks of regaining the state, realizing the peace and stability foundations and ending the coup," said al-Sa'adi, pointing out that the terrorist attack increases the government's firmness in facing challenges.
Yemen's permanent representative to the UN called upon the Security Council to shoulder its responsibilities and take serious action towards these carinal acts aiming at foiling the political process and diminishing UN's efforts for realizing inclusive and sustainable peace on the bases of the agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and UN Resolution 2216.
For their part, the permanent representatives expressed their countries' denouncement to the malicious terrorist attack and denounce to all forms of terrorism and welcomed announcing the new government.
They also confirmed their countries' support to efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen for reaching a political settlement ending conflict in Yemen.
