Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubark conferred Monday with the Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Dedoshken over the latest developments about the peace process including the terrorist attack carried out by Houthi militia last Wednesday on Aden airport.
The virtual discussions touched upon Yemeni-Russian robust relations and bilateral cooperation.
Bin Mubark underscored the need for Russia's role in contributing to the efforts aiming to get the Yemeni crisis resolved.
The Foreign Minister blamed Houthi militia for the terrorist attack on Aden airport, describing it as an endeavor aimed to block the reconciliation realized among the Yemenis of different political constituencies and targeted international peace efforts as well.
The Russian Ambassador offered condolences on the victims of the attack on Aden airport, describing it as terrorist and brutal criminal act.
He also reiterated Russia's continuance support for peace efforts and its cooperation with the Yemeni government.
