The United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has condemned Wednesday’s “deplorable attack on Aden airport” which struck when the new unity government arrived by plane from Riyadh.
UN spokesperson Farhan Haq said, in a statement following the incident, “The Secretary General condemns the deplorable attack on Aden airport shortly after the arrival of the new formed Yemeni cabinet, which killed and wounded dozens of people.”
“He extends his profound condolences to the families of the victims as well as to the people and the Government of Yemen,” said Haq.
