ADEN - SABA
Yemen’s Information Minister said one journalist “was martyred and 10 others were wounded” in the terror attack that struck Aden International Airport on Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement to Saba, Muammaral-Eryani said the journalists including correspondents of foreign news agencies were in the airport “to cover the arrival of the government” from Riyadh to the country’s temporary capital Aden.
Al-Eryani said the Houthi militia. the perpetrator of the attack, has a record of hundreds of crimes including the killing of “dozens of journalists,” exceeding Daesh and Al-Qaeda’s crimes against members of the journalistic profession.
Al-Eryani said the attacks on airports are terrorist acts and the international community should condemn them and “designate the theocratic militants as a terrorist organization.”
