Vice President Lt. Gen. Ali Mohsen Saleh has checked in a phone call with the Prime Minister Maeen Abdulmalik on the safety of the cabinet members after a criminal attack hit Aden airport where they had just arrived from Saudi Arabia.
The Vice President prayed for the souls of civilians who were killed in the attack, wishing the injured quick recovery.
The Vice President vowed the terror attack would not prevent the leadership of the legitimacy and the Arab Coalition to go ahead in consolidating the Yemeni state's presence on the ground, restoring the state institutions from the Houthi theocratic rebels, and restoring normalcy of life in the war-ravaged country.
The Prime Minister briefed the Vice President on the attack and the fall of civilians who were in the airport at the time, vowing the government's determination to go forward with restoring the state and ending the Houthi coup.
The Vice President said the perpetrators behind this cowardly attack would not escape punishment and they will face the punishment they deserve.
