Governor or Taiz Nabil Shamsan has announced approving the project of maintenance work of Taiz-al-Turbah Road, the first phase, and announcing the tender No. 12 for 2020 of USD 1,6 million as the cost of the first phase.

He made it clear that the maintenance work and rehabilitating the road will start as soon as finalizing necessary measures, praising efforts of Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik and all concerned bodies for financing and approving the project.

On the other hand, Governor Shaman confirmed significance of improving medical service quality at the al-Thawrah Public Hospital Authority as medical reference to the people of Taiz and nearby provinces.

In his meeting with the hospital administration headed by Abdulrahim al-Same'i on Thursday, Shamsan praised performance of the hospital and efforts for improving its services.

He directed concerned bodies to buy UBS appliance with the cost of USD 25,000 for improving electric system, pointing out that the local authority will talk with the government for increasing the hospital's budget to cover big burdens.

For his part, Assame'i reviewed report of performance for the year 2020 and improvement indicators accomplished by the hospital.
