Deputy Minister of Human Rights Majed Fadhael discussed Wednesday with representatives of Yemen's Organization for Prisoners and Kidnapped People efforts it provides to help the prisoners and the kidnapped and monitoring and documenting violations they sustain in Houthi militia's detentions.
The meeting reviewed accomplishments of the organization for defending the detainees and prisoners, adopting their issues, calling for their rights and contribution in taking care of them, in addition to challenges and difficulties facing the organization.
Fadhael confirmed government's care of supporting and facilitating activities of the civil society organizations, especially right organizations, praising the role of the organization and objectives it seeks to implement.
He pointed out that the government, represented by human rights ministry, and right organizations work on helping victims and alleviating their suffering, confirming that monitoring and documentation are the first steps for realizing justice.
