Governor of Hodeida al-Hassan Taher laid Tuesday the foundation stone for housing compound composed of three establishments in Khokha District here.
He confirmed that the project, which is financed by the State of Kuwait and will be carried out by Ghita'a al-Rahma Foundation, will help alleviating burdens on poor families and displaced orphans in Khokha.
He called upon international organization for exerting more efforts and providing services and projects help alleviating suffering of the people in liberated areas in Hodeida over Houthi militia's war in the province.
He praised Kuwaiti brothers' support and their continuous help to their brothers in Yemen.
For his part, the Representative of Ghita'a al-Rahma Foundation made it clear that the project includes complete housing compound composed of three urban establishments.
The first one is composed of 19 units to families of orphans, the second will be a training center for compound inhabitants and to the province in general and the third will be a mosque with its facilities, he added.
