Governor of Aden Hamed Lamlas discussed Monday with Director of Egyptian Consultants Engineers Mustafa Abu Hussein the ongoing work in the project of improving water and sanitation establishments.
He was acquainted with accomplishment level in the project and difficulties facing implementation of the project, which costs KD 10 million financed from Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.
Governor Lamlas praised Kuwaiti support to Aden and financing a number of vital projects associated with people's livelihoods.
On the other hand, the Local Corporation for Water and Sanitation in Aden signed Monday with Tawasol Foundation for Humanitarian Development a project treaty for digging 10 wells at Bir Naser, Aden.
The project, which costs USD 888 thousand includes digging the wells with 360m depth, qualifying electric network, building water network, building 10 pumping rooms and other necessary equipment.
The project is financed by Kuwaiti Relief Agency.
Governor of Aden confirmed significance of the project for covering people's needs of water, praising Kuwait's support and financing such projects, which provide important services to citizens.
