A large number of people have appealed to the international community including the United Nations to condemn the Houthi killing of athletes in a shelling on a sports club in Taiz yesterday.
Protesters including sportsmen and government officials in the central Yemen city said in a gathering today the shelling that the Houthis should be designated a terrorist group and their leaders should not get away with their continuous massacring of civilians in the besieged city.
The militia shelled Al-Ahly club yesterday morning killed Nasser Arraymi, his son Emran and injured two other children playing a recreational football match.
