Popular protest in Aden calls for categorizing Houthi militia "terrorist group"

A popular protest included families of the martyrs and wounded people organized Wednesday here calling the international community to categorize Houthi militia a terrorist group for their crimes against civilians in Aden and in their-held provinces.

In the protest organized by civil society activists, the protestors lifted up banners included slogans like " Not to Forget Houthi Crimes in Aden" and " One Voice; Houthis are Terrorist Group."

The protest aimed to teach international public opinion how barbaric Houthi militia's crimes are.

The protesters renewed their rejection to all terrorist practices by Houthi militia since the eruption of the war in 2014 until now against the people of Aden in particular and against all Yemeni people in general.

Deputy Governor of Aden Mohammad al-Shatheli confirmed coincidence of the protest with celebration of the International Human Rights Day, calling the international community to categorize Houthi militia a terrorist crime as they committed the most malicious crimes against humanity in Aden and in different provinces.
