The governor of Aden Ahmed Lamlas chaired on Tuesday a meeting convened by the Emergency Committee on Coronavirus to discuss the general health sitation and resources available to counter the expected second wave of the pandemic.

The meeting addressed the preparedness of the ealthcare centers and the requirements to counter the pandemic as well as the role of international organizations to support the local authority.

The meeting decided to deploy teams to the healthcare centers, isolation centers and air, land and seaports of entry to assess the preparedness with resources to tackle the novel contagion.
