The National Committee to Investigate Alleged Human Rights Violations (NCIAHRV) concluded Saturday field visits to neighborhoods of Jahmalia, Askari, Sala, Urdhi and Camp in Taiz for investigating Houthi militia's shelling on houses, schools and medical facilities.

These neighborhoods have been shelled since mid-October. The shelling killed and injured 25 civilians, 15 of them children living in the neighborhoods. The attacks violate international humanitarian law on defining civilian and military targets.

The members of the committee listened to a number of eyewitnesses and victims of the shelling and defined the damages on hospitals of al-Thawra, al-Jomhori, al-Amal and blood bank, all located in Taiz city center.
