They discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries in various fields, Britain’s continued steadfast support for achieving peace and stability in Yemen, and what it could offer to support the government's efforts in the current and future stage.
Talks also went on the final steps underway to announce the new government and accelerate the implementation of the military and security aspects of the Riyadh Agreement with support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition to the efforts led by the UN envoy to push the peace process in light of the draft Joint Declaration.
The meeting discussed the mutual views on a number of issues, foremost of which is the dependent role of the new government in dealing with the economic and humanitarian conditions, and the international support required for the success of its work and the implementation of the priorities it has prepared in order to normalize the situation and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
