Yemen calls on int’l community to condemn unprecedented crimes against journalists

Yemen has called on the international community to “condemn the unprecedented crimes against journalists” in the country as practiced by the violent theocratic militia of Houthis.
In a statement to Saba, Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani said the international community needs to act to press for the release of all hostages, traditional journalists and social media activists without any conditions.
He said, “In the International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists, we remember thousands of crimes and violations the Iran-backed Houthi militia have committed against journalists … including murders, kidnappings, enforced disappearances, and torture in jails, forced displacements and confiscating properties.”
Al-Eryani called on the international community to pressure the militia to release the disappeared journalists in their run jails.
