Military Court holds fifth session against Houthi leaders

The Military Court held its fifth session publically Monday on hearings the grand crime numbering 4 for the year 2020 filed by the Military Prosecution against Houthi Militia's Leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi and other 174 Houthi leaders on charge of carrying out a military coup against the legitimacy.

The court reviewed previous decisions, which included authorizing the prosecution to announce names of the eyewitnesses to deliver their testimonies. The court approved also attendance of the victims from the relatives of the killed people and representatives of defense ministry.

The Military Prosecutor provided eyewitnesses and proceedings regrading Iranian Revolutionary Guard's sending the so-called Hassan Irlooo to Sana'a to work as completely-authorized ambassador to Houthi militia.

The prosecutor approved that Irloo was a military foe and arrived to Sana'a for managing military operations directly against the Yemeni army and people, pointing out that the prosecution is working on finalizing necessary measures for including Irloo in the accused list in forthcoming session.

The prosecutor approved physical link between Houthi militia and Iranian regime.

The court listened to eyewitnesses brought by the prosecution. The Spokesperson of the National Army General Abdu Mujally, who testified that Houthi militia has committed a number of crimes and violations.

He revealed a number of incidents, which prove Houthi militia's implication in spying with Iranian regime and carrying out a coup against the constitutional legitimacy, seizing the state institution, looting military camps and using extreme force against Yemeni people.
