Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hadrami met on Monday with the Charged' Affairs of the British embassy in Yemen Simon Smart.

Aspects of bilateral ties and cooperation between the Republic of Yemen and the United Kingdom was key focus of the conversation.

Al-Hadrami detailed Smart on the latest developments about the UN-led peace process in our country.

The Foreign Minister stated that the government is very interested in realizing peace. To this end the government fully supports the UN-led efforts to bring about comprehensive solution based on the fundamental references of peace.

The British diplomat reaffirmed his country's support for the UN-led peace process and the ongoing efforts by the UN special envoy to establish permanent peace and re-establish security and stability all over Yemen.
