Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami discussed Monday with Charge D'affairs of Japanese Embassy in Yemen latest developments in Yemen and coordinating positions of the two countries towards common concerned issues in international forums.
Al-Hadhrami pointed out to dangerous repercussions of the current situations of Safir Oil Tanker over Houthi militia's tricks and not allowing to the UN team to inspect and evaluate it for draining it from crude oil, urging the international community to continue pressure on the militia to solve the problem of the tanker as soon as possible.
He praised Japanese relief and humanitarian support to Yemeni people and the political support provided to the government of Yemen.
For his part, the Japanese diplomat renewed his country's firm position towards Yemen and the internationally-recognized government, confirming support to efforts aiming at realizing peace and regaining order in Yemen.
