Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik received Thursday a phone conversation from the Secretary General of the GCC Dr. Nayef al-Hajraf dealt with the latest developments in the Yemeni national scene.
Dr. Ma'een briefed Dr. Al-Hajraf on the UN's ongoing good offices aiming to make peace in Yemen and the Houthi militia's rejection to come to peace.
The conversation also touched up on the steps have been taken to speed up the implementation of Riyadh Agreement.
The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for the GCC's member states' supportive stances in support of the Yemeni people and Yemen's stability and security.
The GCC's Secretary General stated that the GCC's member states will continue to support the Republic of Yemen and the peace that is based on the GCC's Initiative, outcomes of National Dialogue and UNSCR 2216.
