Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad al-Hadhrami has discussed with his counterpart of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu mutual relations between the two countries and means of enhancing and improving them.
In the meeting held through video conference on Thursday, al-Hadhrami touched upon latest political developments, UN-led efforts for realizing peace in Yemen and developments regarding implementation of Riyadh Agreement, reconfirming government's keenness on realizing permanent and inclusive peace on the bases of the three internationally agreed upon references.
Al-Hadhrami praised support of Estonia, as non-permanent member in the Security Council, to Yemen during monthly discussion of the council, expressing hope that the SC will be crucial in the forthcoming meetings regarding Houthi militia's hindrance access to UN team to Safir Oil Tanker.
For his part, the Estonian minister expressed his country's solidarity to Yemen, pointing out that his country follows up anxiously military escalation in some Yemeni provinces and urges ceasefire and resumption of political track.
He confirmed that his country is aware the threat posed by deteriorating conditions of Safir tanker and that his country will exert efforts to end this threat, hoping realization of security and stability in Yemen.
