Yemen, Korea discuss coordinating positions in international forums

Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Mansour Bajjash discussed Monday with Ambassador of Korea to Yemen coordinating positions between the two countries in international forums regarding common concern issues.
The two parties also discussed latest developments in Yemen, including Houthi militia's violations and shelling civilians.
Bajjash pointed out to recent Houthi militia's attack on Mithaq School in Marib city during celebration of the 26th of September Revolution, confirming keenness of the government on communications for reaching inclusive, peaceful and sustainable solution in accordance with the internationally agreed upon references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and Security Resolution 2216.
He praised Korean fixed position supporting Yemen and its internationally-recognized government and valued Korean humanitarian assistances to Yemeni people in this difficult stage.
For his part, the Korean diplomat reaffirmed his country's support to Yemen and its government and to all efforts exerted for peace and realizing stability in Yemen.
He pointed out that the Korean humanitarian and relief assistances to Yemeni people will continue.
