Yemen’s Civil Service Ministry declared next Sunday would be a holiday to mark the Revolution Day, 26th September.
September 26 falls on Saturday, a weekend day, therefore the next day should make up for it, as per the Yemeni Law on Holidays.
By 26th September, 1962, a public revolution against the theocratic dynastical regime known as Imamite was crowned with victory and the Republic of Yemen was declared.
