ADEN - SABA
A criminal court in the temporary capital Aden has considered the leaders of the 2014 coup d’état in Sana’a as “fugitives from justice.”
The Public Prosecution had the names of the Houthi top leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi and 31 other leaders summoned to the court through official gazette but because they did not show up, the court declared them fugitives from justice and appointed lawyers on their behalf.
The Houthi leaders face charges of orchestrating the coup and triggering Yemen’s devastating war running for six years now.
