RIYADH-SABA
Yemen has renewed its official call on the international community to put the Houthis on the terror list, as the violent theocratic militia the country’s north continues attacks of terrorist nature in Yemen and outside.
In a statement to Saba, Information Minister Muammar al-Eryani said, “these ever continuing terrorist attacks on civilian places and on vessels in international shipping lanes show the militia’s intent to incur the biggest possible damage to civilians and– supported and armed by Iran – to … threaten the regional and international security.”
He cited the Houthi militia’s launching of an explosive drone on Sunday at the Saudi airport of Abha as the latest such terror attack. The Arab Coalition intercepted the drone but splinters fell in the airport, with no casualties or damages.
