Houthi denial of terror group links an exposed cover-up attempt, says Mujalli
[19/08/2020 01:38]
MARIB-SABA
The spokesman of the armed forces Brig. Abduh Mujalli said on Wednesday the Houthi denial of links to other terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda and Daesh is an exposed attempt to cover up the truth.

In a press statement, Mujalli also said recent Houthi claims they had engaged in fighting with Al-Qaeda and ISIL in "government-held territories" in Beidha is "an exposed lie that no one will believe."

He said the three terrorist groups from their adjacent areas of control in central Yemen's Beidha province are "battling and looting tribesmen."

"The recent Houthi claim that they had captured Yaklaa and Atiyoos areas in Beidha –already under Houthi control – from al-Qaeda was only a play (made up with Al-Qaeda) one of the aspects of cooperation between the terrorist groups."

"The Houthi marketing of themselves to the international community as warriors against terrorism are desperate attempts. The Yemeni people and the whole world know their bloody characteristic and cross-border terrorism agendas."
