PM receives Southern Components, leaders of Rashad Party on new government

Prime Minister Ma'een Abdulmalik received Tuesday a number of Southern Components and leaders of Rashad Party separately within consultations of forming the new government, defining its priorities and integrating efforts for making its tasks successful.

In his meeting with southern components, Abdulmalik discussed with representatives of Southern Peaceful Movement, Nahdha Alliance, the Southern National Alliance and some leaders of the Southern Resistance process of choosing members of the new government on the bases of qualifications and specialization and accomplishments in the mechanism of implementing Riyadh Agreement.

As he did with all political parties he met earlier, Prime Minister reviewed the vision of the program of the new government, which will focus ending Houthi militia's coup against the state within it priorities, recovery of the economy, improving services, drying up sources of corruption and making real and remarkable reforms in the state's institutions.

He pointed out to significance of implementing Riyadh Agreement and creating suitable environments for unifying the national front in its national battle against Iran's agenda and its proxies like Houtih militia.

He stressed significance of integration under the constitutional legality and making interests of the homeland above all other and personal interests.

For their part, the representatives of the southern components congratulated Ma'een Abdulmalik for gaining President Hadi's confidence of naming him to form the new government and presented their ideas and visions on forming the new government.

For their part, the leaders of Rashad Party confirmed support to the new government and stressed that the new government should be formed from the competent and qualified officials.
