The leadership of the education ministry and representatives from the World Bank discussed Wednesday education-support project financed by the WB.
The project is to be implemented early 2021.
The project aims to choosing a number of schools for implementing emergency educational services in three years. The services include supporting teachers, providing teaching materials, rehabilitating schools, providing school feeding, remote education and capacity building.
The WB is expected to allocate USD 60-80 million.
Minister of Education Abdullah Lamlas confirmed significance of including comments made by the government and twining the project's activities with the educational transitional plan.
For their part, the WB's representatives confirmed keenness on coordination with the ministry of education's transitional plan.
