Hodeidah governor, Solidarités International sign new project agreements

Hodeidah governor Dr. Al-Hassan Taher and the French organization Solidarités International have signed two agreements to set up two projects in the liberated parts western Yemen province.
The first project is a multisectoral response to the urgent and sudden events of the population affected by the Houthi war including by contributing to reducing malnutrition-related deaths.
The second project focuses on contributing to emergency, critical and sudden needs in the fields of water, sanitation and shelter. It targets the most vulnerable, displaced and host communities who need water, sanitation and hygiene.
The governor praised the efforts of the organization, which contributed effectively to alleviate the suffering of the displaced people and the residents of the host areas, calling for more efforts to cover the necessary needs as a result of the increasing population density in the liberated districts of Hodeidah.
