Aden Governor launches vaccination campaign

Governor of Aden Ahmad Salem and Director of Health Office in the province Ali Saleh launched Saturday the second phase of vaccination campaign against polio.

Thanking the international organizations for financing the vaccination campaign, the two officials confirmed significance of the campaign for protecting children against polio.

In the activity attended by Director of World Health Organization's office in Aden Nuha Mahmoud and Acting Director of UNICEF's Office in Aden, Salem called on parents to help the vaccination teams and take their children to vaccinating centers.

The three-day campaign targets vaccinating 112500 children under five years and the teams will visit 158658 houses across Aden.
