Egypt sent today the second batch of medical aid to Yemen in coordination with King Salman Center Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, consisting of medical solutions, protective clothing, and medical supplies to combat the coronavirus.
Deputy Health Minister, Dr. Shawqi Al-Sharjabi, explained that the aid comes within the framework of bilateral coordination between the governments of the two countries, expressing Yemen's appreciation for Egypt and its permanent stand by the side of the Yemeni people.
For his part, the Egyptian ambassador, Ahmed Farouk, indicated that the aid is a symbolic Egyptian contribution to Yemen's struggle against the novel pandemic.The ambassador pointed to the depth of relations that bind the two countries, hoping that stability will prevail in Yemen, stressing his country's support to the Yemeni government and people in all fields.
