Deputy Health Minister for the Primary Healthcare Sector, Dr. Ali Al-Waleedi, launched today, in Aden, an emergency response project to combat dengue fever (the second phase) implemented by the Al-Aoun Foundation for Development at a cost of $ 300,000, funded by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

The project, which lasts 5 months, includes vector control, implementation of emergency spray campaigns for various places, awareness spreading campaigns, and training of medical staff.

Al-Waleedi pointed out the importance of this project, which contributes to reducing the number of febrile infections in Aden that have spread due to climatic changes, rain and torrents that Aden witnessed during the past periods.
