Minister of Information Mua'amar al-Iryani discussed Wednesday with the Head of Egyptian National Authority for Media Hussein Zain cooperation aspects in field of TV and radio cooperation.
During the meeting, al-Iryani praised Egyptian experience in field of radio and TV, which made an example in Arab media and unprecedented experience in the region.
He touched upon cooperation protocols signed between the two countries and means of improving them to improve performance of the TV and radio to spread national awareness and fighting terrorism.
He pointed out to significance of coordination between the TV and Radio corporations of the two countries for facing Houthi militia's violations against Yemeni people and spread awareness to Arab citizens on dangers of Iranian agenda in the region and sending a message to the international public opinion on Iranian aspirations and threats to regional security and international maritime navigations routes.
He praised also the Egyptian role in supporting the government of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi and Egypt's active participation in the Arab Coalition.
For his part, the Egyptian official confirmed his country's supporting position to Yemen, its unity, security and stability.
He expressed readiness of the authority for providing all forms of support to Yemeni media institutions.
