CAIRO - SABA
The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Dr. Mishaal Al-Salami, condemned in the strongest terms the Houthi militia’s launch of 7 drones and 4 ballistic missiles towards Saudi Arabia, which were successfully intercepted by the Arab Coalition forces.
"The repetition of these cowardly terrorist attacks that attempt to target civilians and civilian properties in the Kingdom confirms beyond any doubt that the Houthi militia is implementing the aggressive agendas and policies of the Iranian regime in destabilizing security and stability in the region, and undermining the efforts of the Special Envoy of the UN's Secretary-General," he said in a press statement.
The President of the Arab Parliament called on the international community to compel the Iranian regime to stop its support including arms support to the rebel Houthi, which was clearly confirmed by the recent report of the United Nations Secretary-General issued on July 4.
The Speaker praised the high efficiency of the Arab coalition forces in dealing with these repeated terrorist attacks and preventing their harm on civilians and civilian properties.
Al-Salami affirmed the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all the measures Saudi Arabia takes to preserve its security and the safety.
