RIYADH - SABA
Yemen's Prime Minister and the British Ambassador to Yemen Michael Aaron discussed issues of pressing concern on the Yemeni landscape and the Houthi rebel militia's contribution to these ordeals.
Talks went over the coronavirus and the Houthi militia's failure to cease fire and refocus efforts on combating the pandemic; the corroded oil tanker in the Red Sea and the Houthi refusal to allow UN experts access to it to carry it out some maintenance on it to prevent a much feared oil spill that will turn into an environmental disaster.
The Prime Minister said Yemen is pinning hopes on the UK and the whole international community in to act on the matter.
