The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

His remarks came as he met on Thursday with the Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China to the Republic of Yemen Kang Yong.
The discussions touched upon the latest developments in the Yemeni national arena and the repercussions of the recent events the country has seen.
The Prime Minister restated that the government has always been keen to respond positively to all peace proposals and calls to unify the efforts to cope with coronavirus.
He blamed Houthi militia for refusing to come to peace, paying no attention to the Yemeni peoples' suffering.
The Chinese Ambassador renewed his country's support for legality, security and stability in Yemen.
He stated that China is supporting the Saudi efforts to put Riyadh Agreement into its effects and the UN-led efforts to reach political solution to the Yemeni crisis.
