Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Russian Federation Dr. Ahmed Salim al-Woheishi highlighted Houthi rebel militia's atrocities and violations against the Yemeni people, citing the militia's racist-oriented policy.

He castigated the militia for issuing an executive order about the law of Zakat, describing it as a racist policy in violation of national and International laws.

" Houthi militia has enacted an internal bylaw about the "Zakat Law" that entitles the militia to levy the so-called "al-Khums" up to 20% of the nation's resources revenues in favor of the Bani Hashem people, the segment of the population the militia claim to belong to", said al-Wohieshi.

His remarks came as he met Monday with the Director of the Russian Orient Institute professors Vitelli Naomkin.
