Deputy Governor of Marib Abd-Rabbu Miftah launched a cash for work project to employ temporarily and thus enhance the livelihood of 600 IDPs who fled the Houthi militant-controlled territories to the government-held province.
The project is being implemented by a local organization with support from the Saudi aid agency KSrelief.
The six hundred targeted beneficiaries including the most vulnerable IDPs will undertake town clean-up campaigns and 250 of them will take vocational training clashes to prepare them for skill demanding professions.
