Yemen's ambassador to Kenya informed Secretary Tom Amolo of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kenya on the raciest legislation the Yemeni Houthi theocratic militants enacted recently.
In a virtual meeting today, the ambassador said the militia's law provides for collecting tax in the militant-controlled areas to the benefit of the supremacist Houthi dynasty as part of a stock of atrocities the militia have been practicing against the Yemeni people for years.
The ambassador informed the Kenyan official that the Yemeni government is seeking to establish face and on its part is supporting the ongoing mediation efforts.
