Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Salim al-Khanbashi highly applauded significant efforts have been made by the UN's agencies which are operating in our country. He cited the World Health Organization (WHO) as an example.
His remarks came as he met Sunday with the Director of the UN's Office for Security and Safety Akum Sofili.
The UN's agencies ongoing actions were key focus of the conversations, namely the underway efforts by the WHO to control coronavirus pandemic.
