Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhybeh has called for establishing a hospital in Yemen that offers traditional Chinese medicine services alongside modern medical services.

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) presented the second phase of support to the health sector in Yemen, as part of a project to support and improve obstetric emergency services and reproductive health and to confront the coronavirus through 22 care centers in the governorates of Aden, Abyan, Al-Dhalea and Shabwa.
The Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for the Population Sector, Dr. Ishraq Al-Sibai, and the Director General of the Health Ministry office in Aden, Dr. Jamal Khadabehsh confirmed that the support will contribute to raising the readiness of the medical staff to confront coronavirus if an outbreak starts.
