Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik stressed on the importance of joining efforts to realize the urgently needed economic recovery through improving oil production and exploration.
His remarks came as he chaired a videoconference session of the High Committee tasked with Oil Marketing on Thursday.
The meeting devoted to discuss the impacts of low oil prices upon the national economy and to explore possible measures to manage the implications.
The discussions touched upon the levels of current oil production and challenges facing the oil production and exploration businesses due to circumstances the country has been enduring.
