MARIB - SABA
The deputy governor of Saada Ali al-Hamati launched on Sunday the distribution of food aid to families the Houthi militia had displaced from their stronghold of Saada into the government-held province of Marib on account of their opposition to the Houthi coup of September 2014.
The aid consists of food packs for 600 families as donated by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth.
Al-Hamati appreciated the Assembly's aid as a major contribution to alleviate the suffering of the population that the radical theocratic militia drove out of Saada over the past years
