PM: No single coronavirus infection recorded in Yemen

Prime Minister Dr. Ma'een Abdulmalik reaffirmed on Thursday that Yemen has continued to be coronavirus-free, no single case of coronavirus infection has been detected yet. There were several suspected cases but all tested negative.
Dr. Ma'een addressed several messages to the Yemeni people.
He stated that we have to sense the lethal risk and act responsibly, put all disputes aside at this critical moment, join efforts and resources to control the lethal pandemic.
The Prime Minister reiterated the government's positive response to the call by the UN's Secretary General to a cease-fire in Yemen in order to devote all resources to cope with the coronavirus.
" We willingly welcomed the call of the UN Secretary General and the call of the UN's envoy to Yemen to agree to a cease-fire, descalate the conflict, stop military operations and act jointly against the coronavirus", said Ma'een.
